RDA-South West Regional Plan
RDA-South West reviews its Regional Plan each year, engaging a wide range of stakeholders. All parts of the plan are checked by relevant parties so that the information provided is robust and can withstand scrutiny.
This mass of data is distilled to a number of regional priority areas which are fundamentally driven by the South West's huge population growth (22.1% from the 2006-20011 ABS Census collections).
Drawn from all parts of the community, the RDA-South West considered regional strengths and weaknesses. This analysis along with pressures form the population drivers and regional competitive advantage (future resources, tourism and agriculture), saw four key areas identified:

2013-15: Following commitment from their respective Chairs, David Trench and Stuart Hicks, RDA-South West and the South West Development Commisison are currently working on a joint SW Regional Blueprint. This will be released for public comment in October.
