RDA: Working for the South West
Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a nationwide initiative of the Commonwealth Government. RDA-South West is one of 55 offices working with State and Local Government for the betterment of regional Australia and providing a framework for reporting regional issues to Canberra as well as providing information to the region.
RDA-SW is committed to working in the best interests of the region, employing strategies identified through the SW Blueprint.
Each year RDA-SW establishes a plan of activities, agreed with the Commonwealth. Budgets are set for major items but some provision for flexibility is made so the organisation can respond to emerging need and opportunities
RDA-SW works in partnership with the South West Development Commission among others including the region's Local Government bodies, China Business Office, timber cluster, Creative Corner and other business sectors.

Join RDA-South West
RDA-South West is now actively seeking new committee members. EOIs are sought from those who are active contributors to the region and can think across the region and beyond to support jobs and regional growth.
Committee members are expected to leverage existing networks and develop new networks across industry sectors. RDA Committee members must be knowledgeable about the economic, social, cultural and environmental opportunities and challenges facing the region; be well connected; and be a strong advocate to build and drive economic growth.
