International collaboration project underway
RDASW is delighted to be chosen by the European Union for its IURC Asia & Australasia program. We have been working with a number of local and international stakeholders to advance climate resilience in forestry and viticulture.
The activity focuses on addressing the climate impacts, particularly long dry spells and reduced rainfall. Participating regions include South West WA, Trier (Germany), Central Macedonia (Greece), Val d’Oise (France) and possibly Concepción (Chile).
The aim is to create a predictive model that informs farming interventions and planning to support improved land management and long-term sector resilience. We will also be looking at monitoring technologies and systems.
We look forward to sharing the outcomes with our networks and will keep everyone posted.
